State of TRON Q3 2026 Report Highlights $2.21 Trillion in Stablecoin Settlement Amid Network Activity Growth

State of TRON Q3 2026 Report Highlights $2.21 Trillion in Stablecoin Settlement Amid Network Activity Growth

Geneva, Switzerland, October 12, 2026 — TRON DAO, the community-governed DAO dedicated to accelerating the decentralization of the internet through blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps), today highlighted key findings from its State of TRON Q3 2026 ecosystem report. The report examines network activity, stablecoin settlement, liquidity, tokenomics, developer activity, decentralization, and protocol governance during the third quarter of 2026.   TRON surpassed $30 trillion in cumulative transaction volume in Q3 2026, marking another milestone for a network used as infrastructure for stablecoin settlement and digital-asset transfers. At the same time, stablecoin supply and total value locked continued to expand, while the network’s active-address base grew and transaction activity remained broadly steady.   Key Insights In Q3, TRON surpassed $30 trillion in cumulative transaction volume. Stablecoin settlement reached $2.21 trillion in the Q3 reporting period, with average daily volume rising 3.9% from Q2 to $24.05 billion. Canary Capital launched the Canary Staked TRX ETF (TRXS) on September 9, 2026. TRXS gives investors exposure to the spot price of TRX—the native utility and governance token of the TRON blockchain network—alongside passive net staking rewards reflected directly in the fund’s daily net asset value. TRON DAO’s team rang the Cboe Closing Bell in Chicago on September 29 to celebrate its launch. TRON expanded its ecosystem collaborations in Q3 2026, adding institutional custody and staking, new trading venues, and digital dollar products through Anchorage Digital, Bitnomial, Backpack, Ethena, and Ducat. Payment, wallet, cross-chain, and developer integrations also broadened access and strengthened the infrastructure for payment, treasury, and DeFi applications.  Stablecoin supply and Total Value Locked continued to expand. USDT and USDD supply reached $93.88 billion, up 5.5% from Q2, while TVL including staking hit $28.21 billion and TVL excluding staking (DeFi TVL) hit $13.05 billion The active-address base widened while transaction frequency held steady. Average rolling monthly active addresses increased 9.8% to 18 million.  Network fee generation moderated. Fees totaled $701.4 million during Q3, averaging $7.62 million per day, down 4.0% from Q2. The average daily transaction fee fell from $0.668 to $0.643.    TRON’s ecosystem continued to broaden in Q3, with new integrations spanning institutional services, trading, stablecoins, payments, wallets, and developer infrastructure. Anchorage Digital added TRX staking and TRC-20 custody, while Bitnomial and Backpack expanded access to TRX markets. Ethena brought USDe and sUSDe to TRON, and Ducat connected its Bitcoin-backed financial infrastructure to the network’s stablecoin ecosystem.   The quarter also brought new capabilities for users and developers. MoonPay introduced gasless transactions through Trust Wallet, removing the need to hold TRX for network fees, while Bitcoin.com Wallet added native support for TRX and USDT-TRC20. MetaMask connectivity expanded across B.AI, SUN.io, JustLend DAO, and BitTorrent, while Fireblocks Flow added support for payments from TRON wallets. Eco and STON.fi expanded cross-chain stablecoin connectivity, and KiiChain linked TRON assets with its 24/7 foreign-exchange and payment infrastructure. For developers, Privy expanded wallet, transaction, and policy-management capabilities, while OpenZeppelin brought its smart contract libraries and security tooling to the network. Together, these integrations strengthened the infrastructure available for payments, treasury management, and DeFi applications on TRON.   TRON’s third-quarter developments underscore continued growth in stablecoin settlement, liquidity, network activity, and ecosystem infrastructure, reflecting sustained demand for its financial infrastructure. With these trends strengthening, TRON enters Q4 with an increasingly established role in global stablecoin settlement and digital asset activity.   Read the full report from TRON here.   About TRON DAO TRON DAO is a community-governed DAO dedicated to accelerating the decentralization of the internet via blockchain technology and dApps.   Founded in September 2017, the TRON blockchain has experienced significant growth since its MainNet launch in May 2018. TRON Surpasses $30T in Total Transaction Volume as it Secures its Place as Leading Chain for Stablecoins

TRON Surpasses $30T in Total Transaction Volume as it Secures its Place as Leading Chain for Stablecoins

Geneva, Switzerland, September 24, 2026 — TRON DAO, the community-governed DAO dedicated to accelerating the decentralization of the internet through blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps), today announced that total transaction volume settled on the TRON blockchain has surpassed $30 trillion. A milestone driven by the network’s high throughput, low costs, and deep liquidity, making TRON the settlement layer of choice for stablecoin transfers, payments, and digital asset activity worldwide.   TRON has now recorded more than 405 million total user accounts, over 15 billion total transactions, more than $28 billion in total value locked (TVL) and currently carries more than $94 billion in circulating USDT, the largest supply of any blockchain. According to Token Terminal, TRON leads all networks in USDT transfer volume year to date, with approximately $6 trillion, averaging $25 billion in daily transfer volume. That momentum is also extending into consumer payments. According to CoinDesk Research, crypto payment card volumes grew from $2 billion in the first quarter of 2026 to $2.4 billion in the second, with TRON’s share rising from 33% to 34% over the same period, the highest of any chain tracked. The data reflects TRON’s position as the dominant blockchain for merchant acceptance and consumer-to-business payments via Visa-linked stablecoin cards.   “TRON has moved $30 trillion since launch, a scale comparable to the annual output of the U.S. economy in 2025. Crossing $30 trillion in total transaction volume is proof that TRON has become an essential infrastructure for the digital dollar economy,” said Justin Sun, founder of TRON. “Every trillion dollars that moves across TRON represents real people relying on stablecoins for payments, savings, and everyday transactions. TRON was built to support accessible, scalable digital financial infrastructure, and this milestone reflects the continued growth of that mission.”   Institutional access to TRON has broadened alongside the network’s growth. In September 2026, Canary Capital launched the Canary Staked TRX ETF, trading under the ticker TRXS. TRX spot and futures products are also available on Bitnomial, a US-regulated derivatives exchange, further broadening regulated market access. Anchorage Digital also expanded support for the TRON Network with native TRX staking and custody for TRC-20 assets through its regulated platform, while the Tokenized Hamilton Lane SCOPE Fund became the first Securitize-issued asset on the TRON network.   Additionally, the TRON blockchain was among the top 5 protocols represented in the newly launched S&P Pantera Digital Asset Index. The index was developed by S&P Dow Jones Indices and Pantera Capital, and applies a methodology centered on protocol utility, onchain liquidity, and network activity. The launch marks one of the clearest signs to date that established financial market frameworks are being extended to digital assets, applying benchmark methodologies traditionally used across equities and other asset classes to blockchain networks.   TRON’s $30 trillion transfer volume milestone underscores the network’s scale as blockchain-based payments and stablecoin settlement continue to grow. With rising activity across payments, digital assets, and institutional markets, TRON continues to serve as core infrastructure for the movement of value on-chain.   About TRON DAO TRON DAO is a community-governed DAO dedicated to accelerating the decentralization of the internet via blockchain technology and dApps.   Founded in September 2017, the TRON blockchain has experienced significant growth since its MainNet launch in May 2018. Anchorage Digital Taps LayerZero To Take USAT Stablecoin Cross-Chain

Anchorage Digital Taps LayerZero To Take USAT Stablecoin Cross-Chain

TL;DR Anchorage Digital has selected LayerZero as its interoperability partner for regulated stablecoins issued through its platform. Tether’s USAT is the first token to adopt the LayerZero OFT standard under the arrangement. LayerZero supports connectivity across more than 170 networks, but not every Anchorage-issued stablecoin is live across every chain today. Anchorage Digital is putting cross-chain infrastructure directly into its regulated stablecoin stack. The federally chartered digital-asset bank has selected LayerZero as its interoperability partner, using the Omnichain Fungible Token standard to move supported stablecoins between blockchain networks. The first asset through the door is USAT. USAT Becomes The First Live Integration Tether’s USAT, issued through Anchorage Digital Bank, is the first stablecoin on the platform to use the LayerZero standard. LayerZero’s infrastructure supports more than 170 blockchain networks, giving Anchorage a broad technical base for moving regulated dollar tokens across different execution environments without creating separate isolated versions for every chain. That matters because stablecoin fragmentation has become a practical problem. A token can be highly liquid on one network and awkward to use on another, while wrapped or bridged versions introduce additional operational and security assumptions. The OFT model is designed to give issuers a more unified way to manage supply across chains. More Anchorage Stablecoins Are Expected To Follow The rollout is not universal on day one. USAT is the first live token under the integration. Anchorage says other stablecoins, including Western Union’s USDPT and OSL’s USDGO, are expected to join later. That sequencing is important because “170+ networks” describes LayerZero’s wider connectivity footprint, not a claim that every Anchorage-issued token is immediately active on every supported chain. The broader direction, though, is clear. Regulated stablecoin issuers increasingly want cross-chain distribution to be native infrastructure rather than an afterthought. Anchorage is now building that capability into the issuance layer itself. This article was written by the News Desk and edited by Samuel Rae.
