What BurnMonitor is
An independent, real-time tracker of token burns β and of what those burns actually mean for supply.
Why it exists
β10 billion tokens burnedβ sounds impressive, but on its own it says nothing. Against a supply of 589 trillion it is a rounding error; against a supply of 1 billion it is a structural event. BurnMonitor reports every burn relative to circulating supply, so the number means something.
What we track
- Burn events and burn rates for a curated set of deflationary tokens, each monitored on one specific chain (shown on every token page).
- Total burned vs initial supply, burned in the last 24h and 7 days, and the annualized burn rate.
- The BurnMonitor Deflation Score, a 0β100 indicator with a public formula.
- Burn & tokenomics news: burns, buybacks, unlocks, minting and supply changes, aggregated from established crypto publications.
What we are not
We are not a financial advisor, an exchange, or a token promoter. Nothing on this site is investment advice. Data can be delayed or incomplete; the methodology and data sources pages explain exactly how each number is produced and where it can go wrong.
Who runs it
BurnMonitor is built and operated by a small independent team. Questions, corrections and token requests: contact page.
